Following a run of dates in Europe and the UK, Canadian heavy music artist Devin Townsend is set to begin his ‘Empath’ tour in North America beginning next month, Feb 2020. The tour kicks off Feb 26th in Montreal and concludes March 25th in San Francisco. Alternating as main support on the tour are InsideOutMusic label mates Haken, who will be reprising their run as support on the European leg, along with American progressive metal band The Contortionist.

Swedish death metal veterans DERANGED will release a new studio album titled “Deeds Of Ruthless Violence” on March 27th via Agonia Records. “It’s death metal like it was meant to be”, says drummer and mastermind Rikard Wermén, who’s been in charge of the band’s steering wheel for nearly thirty years.  

Progressive sludge metal outfit HYBORIAN will release their sophomore effort, aptly titled ‘Volume II,’ on March 20, 2020! The Kansas City band has partnered with Invisible Oranges to premiere the official music video for their second single, “Expanse.”

U.K. Grindcore pioneers, Napalm Death announce their Spring North American headline tour today. The band will be joined by death metal band and labelmates Aborted (April 17-May 16), The Locust (April 9-April 15), Nastie Band (April 9-April 15), Tombs (April 24-May 16), and Wvrm (April 17-May 16) for select dates.

Critically acclaimed cosmic trio YOB have announced 2020 US & EU tour dates launching this Spring. US dates kick off on March 19 in Sacramento, CA and ends March 28 in Boise, ID. Beginning May 20, YOB returns to Europe in Dresden, DE and ends May 30 in Karlsruhe, DE at Dudefest.

Canadian tech-death force BENEATH THE MASSACRE announce a handful of North American tour dates today. The band will be joining Origin as direct support for the Occupation Domination North American Tour 2020, which starts March 12th in Kansas City and wraps on April 11th in Minneapolis.

John Dolmayan, the iconic drummer of GRAMMY® Award-winning, multiplatinum Los Angeles quartet System Of A Down, has announced his debut solo album, These Grey Men. The eight-track album, out Friday, February 28, is an eclectic collection of reimagined songs Dolmayan was inspired by during many drives between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
