Jakko Jakszyk is pleased to announce he has signed a worldwide contract with InsideOutMusic for the release of his forthcoming new solo album ‘Secrets & Lies’ in late 2020.

Check out this rarely seen after show press conference from THE BIG 4 SHOW AT YANKEE STADIUM – 2011! Renowned doom duo Bell Witch fully integrate themselves with dark folk elegist, Aerial Ruin. The collaborative effort, titled ‘Stygian Bough Volume 1’ is a collection of five transcendent, hauntingly beautiful songs that defy categorization.  

Following a successful virtual album release party, which took place last Thursday via Facebook, progressive sludge metal outfit BARISHI are now inviting fans from all over the world to attend their upcoming hometown performance from the comfort of your living rooms! The band will be live streaming their performance at The Stone Church in Brattleboro, VT on Saturday, May 2 @ 5:00 P.M. EDT via the following platforms and links:  

Metal band Images of Eden premiere their new music video for “Autumn Is Burning.” The song is from the band’s upcoming album, entitled Angel Born, which is currently in the works and expected to come later this year via Pavement Entertainment. Angel Born is being mixed and mastered by Bill Metoyer and is the follow-up to the band’s 2018 album, Soulrise. The music video for “Autumn Is Burning” was directed by Steve D. Dorssom.  

Jeff Scott Soto has released a surprise live album, “Live At Frontiers Rock Festival 2019” on all digital platforms. Today marks the one year anniversary of the performance captured in Milan, Italy on April 27, 2019 at the Frontiers Rock Festival.  

This week’s addition to the weekly series of live performances being streamed on KNOTFEST.COM and presented by Liquid Death Mountain Water, will be Trivium’s ferocious set from last year’s Download Festival. This week’s broadcast will air on Saturday April 25th at 8pm BST/ 3pm EDT / 12pm PDT and will feature a special video intro from Trivium frontman, Matt Heafy and a live chat with Trivium bassist, Paolo Gregoletto with the other members of the band joining the chat from their own accounts.  

In a perfect world, Ulcerate is the biggest death metal band on the planet. I can’t fathom why more people haven’t been turned onto this band, but their track record of break-neck speed, cacophonic death metal is one of a kind. Darker than Gorguts yet not as much of an oddity as Imperial Triumphant, the New Zealand trio have long found their own brand of death metal, and on album number six, Stare into Death and Be Still, the band is perfecting their concrete and foolproof formula. In case you haven’t guessed it yet, this is one of the best death metal releases of the year, if not in music as a whole. And it’s only April.

Ever since the band’s founding in late 2004, AHAB have been exploring the deep dark sea, while becoming the true masters of solemn melancholy. The nautic doom heavyweights now announce their first intense live album, Live Prey – recorded at Death Row Fest 2017 in Jena, Germany – to be released on June 26, 2020 via Napalm Records.  

Los Angeles’ death metal masters ABYSMAL DAWN have released the official, 3D video for the song “Coerced Evolution,” which is taken from their new album, ‘Phylogenesis.’
