Giving a new twist to horror, the Afterparty Massacre, brings metal, blood and gore back to the screen! Written by Kristoff (Horrormerch.com/Spookygirls.com) and Kyle Severn (Incantation, Acheron, and other various side projects), Afterparty Massacre is one killer party with mind-blowing amounts of blood, metal and (naked) flesh!
I know the announcement about Spider-Man being rebooted was made a week ago. And since then I’ve been mulling over how I really feel about it. First of all, I’m all for a change of direction in the Spider-Man franchise. Sam Raimi’s trilogy are some of my favorite movies that I have a personal connection too. Tobey Maguire was the perfect Peter Parker. JK Simmons was even better as J. Jonah Jameson, and Kirsten Dunst was decent as Mary Jane. (She wasn’t great but she was tolerable) But lets face it, the cast is getting older and Raimi can only direct Spidey for so long before he gets bored so as the old saying goes, “it’s better to go out on a high note than wear out your welcome.”...
When a wily pickpocket steals Ahsoka’s lightsaber during an otherwise routine mission, the desperate Togruta teen must enlist the help of an elderly Jedi Master to track down the slippery thief. Variety reported today that Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s ongoing tale of survival horror in a post-apocalyptic world, THE WALKING DEAD, has been greenlit as a pilot by AMC. “THE WALKING DEAD’s road to the small screen has been a long one, but so far it’s looking like the best of all worlds,” creator and writer Robert Kirkman said. “Given AMC’s track record with shows like ‘Madmen’ and ‘Breaking Bad,’ combined with Frank Darabont writing and directing, I couldn’t possibly be more excited for this to come together. Having the pilot greenlit is a huge leap forward to this becoming a reality.”
By The Scarlet Avenger So, while I was watching the pilot episode of the critically acclaimed show Southland, and I thought to myself, what the hell was NBC thinking, canceling this show right before the beginning of its second season? (One thing I will say, is the show has a high level of violence attached to it). Either way, that would be no excuse for this show to go the way of the scrap heap. Thank goodness it was picked up by TNT. The first season of the show is being rebroadcast with the unseen second season airing as well.
