Michael Chiklis has joined forces with IDW Entertainment to develop and produce his comic series Pantheon as a new scripted live-action television series. IDW Entertainment will fund the development of the project and will be co-produced with Circle of Confusion.  

“Dragon Ball Z” Season Sets Blasting onto Blu-ray This Winter FUNimation® Entertainment has announced that it is giving the Blu-ray release of the anime phenomenon Dragon Ball Z another go.

Tidepoint Pictures will release Sanguivorous (“Kyuketsu”) on November 19th. It is the first Japanese avant-garde, silent vampire movie ever made. The film focuses on a young woman suffering from mysterious physical ailments who’s horrified to discover that she’s descended from generations of vampires. When with her boyfriend, she struggles to control her peculiar appetite. But it’s in her blood…

WaterTower Music today announced details of the soundtrack to “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” a production of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM), the second in a trilogy of films by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. The soundtrack will be released on December 10, 2013, three days before the December 13 release of the film, and will be available both digitally and as a 2 CD set. A Special Edition soundtrack, featuring twelve extended tracks, a bonus track, expanded liner notes and interactive sheet music will also be available. Fans will be able to preorder the album at both iTunes and Amazon...

As the most highly anticipated nerd fest event on the east coast there are a lot of great expectations to live up to. With a chalk full line up of stars, vendors, panels, and companies New York Comic Con 2013 shined brightly against San Diego’s convention with their own North East flare and stamina.
