The time has come for Disney to integrate it’s newly obtained Marvel titles into their theme parks. This fall the god of thunder will show his god-like face in California. Disney will not be able to incorporate any of the Marvel world on the east coast due to the fact that Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida already has pre-existing contracts with Marvel for their own Marvel Island. However, the west coast is fair game and so the mouse take the reins in their newest installment of franchise and merchandising.

More movie news from San Diego Comic Con has swept the nation. Joss Whedon took the stage and announced that Hank Pym a.k.a Ant-Man/Giant Man will not be featured in the film Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Does anyone else find this a little interesting considering Pym is the one who created the robot Ultron? I hope this isn’t the start of story line deviations.  

Warner Brothers has announced a Batman/Superman crossover film at San Diego Comic Con this weekend. This is clearly a product of attempting to expand the universes, in which Marvel is the leading competitor. There has been a list compiled of all of the planned upcoming films. Henry Cavill will be reprising his role, but as to who will be playing Batman is up in the air considering Bale has thrown in the towel on the franchise.  

With all the excitement surrounding upcoming Guardian Of The Galaxy movie, Marvel seems to be getting the ground work layed out early with an animated version of the team on an upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man episode…  

Mary Jane Watson is no longer part of Amazing Spider-Man 2. Shailene Woodley was cast in the role and filmed multiple scenes for Sony’s superhero sequel, but has since been booted. Director Marc Webb explained “to streamline the story and focus on Peter and Gwen and their relationship,” that it would require MJ not the be there. According to a new interview, Woodley is more than satisfied by that concept.

Legendary is just trying to scare the shit out of us with monster movies this year. Released yesterday was the movie poster for their Godzilla reboot. This weekend Legendary is hitting San Diego Comic Con to talk more about the feature, so we’ll know a little bit more about it next week.

A new poster and trailer have been released for Insidious Chapter 2, the sequel to the 2011 sleeper hit from Saw director James Wan.The sequel, opening stateside September 13, reunites Wan, writer Leigh Whannell and the original cast of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins.

This film has been highly anticipated all year to be one of, if not the best blockbuster of the summer. I remember sitting in Legendary’s panel at NYCC last year watching the trailer for this film and being instantly inflicted with excitement. When I sat in the theater this past weekend that excitement came to perdition and I sat in awe at the glory that Guillermo Del Toro has created.  

It should come as no surprise that when speaking about Bloivar Trask being involved in Days of Future Past that only one small ball of amazing should surface as the role. This actor is indeed Peter Dinklage. When this came to pass no one was surprised, however the second villain for the film has been announced and it comes in the form of the Vulture and is being played by Josh Helman.
