Wolverine is currently slicing and dicing his way through his bloodiest adventures yet in WOLVERINE: BLACK, WHITE, AND BLOOD and soon Carnage will show readers why he’s Marvel’s most terrifying villain in CARNAGE: BLACK, WHITE, AND BLOOD. Come August, it’ll be Deadpool’s turn.  

ALIEN is coming! Marvel’s first venture into the iconic—and terrifying—world of the ALIEN franchise arrives next month. This exploration of never-before-seen corners of the Alien universe will entertain both longtime fans and newcomers to the legendary horror/science-fiction saga as writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artist Salvador Larroca tell an all-new tale of the titan of horror and science fiction that has scared audiences for decades.  

Warner Bros. has announced they are going the reboot the Superman franchise. With author and journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates writing and J.J Abrams’ Bad Robot label producing, there is still no word of a director attached to the project. Deadline reports that the project is a “reboot” of the Superman “Man of Steel” film. It is unclear if Henry Cavill will return as Supes again. Coates is responsible for a couple of Marvel Comics series ranging from Captain America to Black Panther. There are rumors going around that Michael B. Jordan might be up for wearing the cape and tights. IGN reported that Michael B. Jordan was being considered to play Superman when Henry Cavill was considering leaving... 

Per the website Deadline, reports are leaking that Warner Bros. has brought in Ta-Nehisi Coates and J.J. Abrams to Re boot The MAN OF STEEL!

MTV Entertainment Studios announced during today’s ViacomCBS Streaming Event presentation that Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, Wind River) has been tapped as the lead in the highly anticipated drama Mayor of Kingstown exclusively for Paramount+. Prolific director, Antoine Fuqua (Academy Award -winning Training Day), has signed on as executive producer in the new series from Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan – co-creator of Yellowstone, cable’s most watched show of 2020 – who recently signed a multi-year pact with ViacomCBS and MTV Entertainment Group.  

Today, Image Comics’ President Todd McFarlane announced his bold attempt at creating his own multi-character, interconnected comic book universe. His stated goal is to establish a shared fictional universe over time in the vein of what the other comic industry giants, Marvel, and DC Comics, have accomplished with their comic book universes.  

In anticipation of all-new Predator stories coming to Marvel Comics later this year, the extraterrestrial hunter will get the spotlight on a series of variant covers this May. For the first time ever, fans will get to witness their favorite Marvel super heroes in epic showdowns with the iconic and terrifying Predator in action-packed artwork crafted by the industry’s top talents including Cory Smith, Superlog, Junggeun Yoon, Juan José Ryp, Mattia De Iulis, and Chris Sprouse.  

Last year, award-winning writer Gene Luen Yang and rising star artist Dike Ruan transformed the Shang-Chi mythos in a critically-acclaimed new series. And today, Marvel Comics is proud to announce that the incredible team will continue their bold work on the character this May in a new ongoing series. SHANG-CHI #1 will kick off a surprising new journey for Marvel’s greatest fighter as he finds himself on the opposite side of Marvel’s heroes.  

Announced earlier today on StarWars.com, WAR OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS, an upcoming Star Wars crossover event, will begin in May. The event will kick off with War of the Bounty Hunters Alpha #1, written by Charles Soule and drawn by Steve McNiven. From there, the event will tie into Marvel’s entire post-Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back lineup including Star Wars, Star Wars: Bounty Hunters, Star Wars: Darth Vader, and Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, starting with special prelude issues throughout May. The crossover will continue in June, centering around a five-issue War of the Bounty Hunters miniseries from Soule and artist Luke Ross.
