The road warriors in GOATWHORE are packing their artillery for another run of live assaults later this week. The infiltration will commence this Saturday, August 15th in Richmond, Virginia as part of the annual Gwar B-Q gala. From there, the band will unite with support act – St. Louis metal troupe, Black Fast — and raze nine venues in seven states before bringing the proceedings to a ceremonial close with a special hometown performance alongside sludge brethren, Crowbar, at the House Of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 28th.  

Pacific Northwestern psychedelic doom bringers, YOB, will bring their sonic enormity to stages this Fall on a lengthy North American headlining trek. Slated to commence on October 22nd in Boise, Idaho and conclude on November 21st in Oakland, California, the trio will quake the stages of over two dozen venues including a special performance at this year’s edition of Philip H. Anselmo’s Housecore Horror Fest in San Antonio, Texas. Support will come from San Francisco volume dealers, Black Cobra. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 14th.  

Cannibal Corpse have spent the summer of 2015 conquering Europe, including stops at Hellfest, Wacken, Bloodstock, Brutal Assault, Party.San, Copenhell, Graspop, and numerous club shows. But they aren’t even close to being finished with 2015, yet. Cannibal Corpse have unveiled their plans for a massive US tour this fall. They are bringing a brutal package of bands with them across the United States beginning October 8th, and running through November 7th. Direct support is slated to come from Metal Blade label mates Cattle Decapitation, preceded by Sweden’s Soreption, plus a local opener on each show. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 14th. Ethereal techn death unit, WRVTH, will kick off a western US tour next month supporting headlining labelmates, Lord Of War. Set to embark on September 11th in Sacramento, California, The Ongoing Dissension Tour will raze seventeen stages in five states, coming to a close on September 27th, 2015 in Lancaster, California.  

Kaotoxin Records has teamed with Germany’s Uterus Productions for the vinyl re-issue of Putrid Offal‘s most recent release, Mature Necropsy.  

The Swedish heavy/doom metal outfit NOCTUM have release two brand new songs online in North America, and as a 7″ in Europe. The 7″ features the title track “Until Then…Until The End” on Side A, and “In Precious Time” on Side B. The vinyl is limited to 500 copies total, 300 on black and 200 on white.
