Swedish death metal unit, AEON, will begin their march through North America this evening on the Devastation On The Nation Tour featuring headliners Origin and Krisiun. Set to embark in Crest Hill, Illinois, the Metal Injection-sponsored live takeover will decimate nearly three-dozen venues through October 5th. Additional support will be provided by Alterbeast, Soreption and Ingested.
Texas-based DEAD TO A DYING WORLD has completed their immense sophomore album, Litany, and plans to release the record this October alongside a Western US tour. In advance of its release, DEAD TO A DYING WORLD exclusively premiered “Beneath The Loam” as the first single from the record to be made publicly available.
Battleground Records has hammered out a deal with Los Angeles area-based black/death metal quartet, DECEIVE, for the release of the band’s forthcoming debut album. The band is currently writing and demoing material for the record, with plans of entering the studio to record later this year and releasing the LP in 2016.
