Detroit Hardcore veterans from legacy bands Earthmover and The Alliance bring the hardened sound of 1990s hardcore back to life from the ashes of Detroit with POISON TONGUES. The band is primed to release four pummeling new anthems of antagonism in the form of a new EP, For Freedom’s Sake, at the end of October, the band’s first release for Fast Break! Records.  

Metal Blade Records is proud to announce the signing of extreme metal outfit Abnormality! Based in Massachusetts (USA), Abnormality formed in 2005 and now features seasoned members Mallika Sundaramurthy (vocals), Jay Blaisdell (drums), Josh Staples (bass), Sam Kirsch (guitars), and Jeremy Henry (guitars), all hailing from various underground acts such as Goratory, Sexcrement, Parasitic Extirpation, Forced Asphyxiation, and Iranach.  

Following recent announcements of NEUROSIS celebrating their 30th anniversary with several live sets in early 2016, including Roadburn Festival, both STEVE VON TILL and SCOTT KELLY have also just confirmed a special night of solo performances at this year’s Roadburn as well.  

As their new album, Sweet Loris, saw release via Retro Futurist, North Carolina’s IRATA has been forced to sit out several days of their ongoing tour with Kylesa due to member Jason Ward having been hospitalized in Florida for several days.  

In just a little over a month, Philip H. Anselmo’s HOUSECORE HORROR FEST will terrorize San Antonio. Now in its third year of audio and visual pandemonium, this year’s multi-stage gore gala will take place at the Aztec Theater, The Korova and the Holiday Inn Riverwalk Hotel on November 13th -15th, 2015 and features three film-screening rooms, multiple vendors, special artist signings, the return of The Metal Masters And Horror panel with special appearances from performing bands and legendary filmmakers throughout the weekend as well as what’s mutated into one of the most punishing live lineups of the year!  

FATES WARNING will kick off their US Tour tonight in Hartford, CT and runs through November 2nd in Ramona, CA. Fans can expect to hear selections from “A Pleasant Shade of Gray“, the FATES WARNING favorites, and more. Support on the first part of the tour (10/9 10/21) comes from Imminent Sonic Destruction and on the second part of the tour from Vangough (10/23-11/2). A complete list of dates can be found below.  

The fourth installment of the annual SOUTHWEST TERROR FEST takes over Tucson, Arizona in just one week, with four days of live mayhem running from October 15th through 18th. Festival enthusiasts at Cvlt Nation have hosted a mixtape with a ton of free music streaming in advance of the melee, organized by the festival promoters.  

Chicago’s IMMORTAL BIRD will kick off their headlining takeover next week. The band’s latest journey – which follows their recent and successful Summer excursion — will commence on October 12th in Denver crumbling the stages of over a dozen venues through nine states including an appearance at this year’s Southwest Terror Fest (Sleep, Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth, Dropdead, Bongripper etc.) in Tucson, Arizona.  

Southern California’s GOATSNAKE is currently preparing to cross the Atlantic for a one-off performance at Desertfest this Sunday, followed by a trio of East Coast US shows.  

merican death metal icons, CANNIBAL CORPSE, will kick off their US headlining tour this evening. Set to embark in Jacksonville, Florida, the journey will level the stages of twenty-six venues, drawing to a close in Orlando, Florida on November 7th.  

Holland’s traumatizing blackened industrial act, GNAW THEIR TONGUES, returns to the US for the second time in its lifespan, primed to take part in the inaugural California Deathfest in Oakland this weekend.
