And yet another Metal Cruise has just been announced. Seems Metal Music on the high seas..as in a cruise tour, is the new thing! Newly announced Mayhem Festival Cruise, brought to you by the same people who bring you The Mayhem Festival. Lamb of God, Machine Head, Anthrax, Suicide Silence, Hatebreed, Kingdom Of Sorrow + More Announced for the First Annual Mayhem Festival Cruise Ship will be leaving in December. So with the Mayhem Festival Cruise, this puts another “Cruise Of Metal” in the water…70,00 Tons, The Bardge From Hell, ShipRocked and now Mayhem Festival Cruise.

SOIL has reunited with Ryan McCombs (formerly of Drowning Pool) for the bands first ever live CD+DVD entitled “Re-LIVE-ing The Scars IN LONDON” in stores MAY 8th 2012. This special release features the band at their very best from their sold-out UK performance on October 14, 2011 at the Electric Ballroom in London.

Complete with several U.S. Military vehicles as well as armed and uniformed troops, the Metal Hammer Trespass America Festival was announced yesterday at The Key Club on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood.  The Key Club became a military detention camp, all guests received an ID bracelet and had to pass through a caged security check before entering. Members from several of the Trespass America support line-up – Kyle “Gumby” Gunther from Battlecross, Emmure’s Frankie Palmeri and Mark Castillo, Matt Heafy from Trivium, and recently rejoined Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach – all handcuffed and hooded – were marched out onto the stage at the press conference with a military escort....

Houston’s Buzzfest returned to The Woodlands Pavilion this past weekend with a lineup mixed with a modest combination of newcomers and old Buzz favorites Korn, Evanescence, and Houston’s own Blue October. Despite initial complaints of the new direction the Buzz chose to go for Buzzfest 28 the sold out crowd proved to love every minute of it. Following past years of blistering heat and torrential rain this spring’s festival finally returned on a beautifully warm sunny day. Upcoming rockers Aranda opened the side stage early on in the day, greeted by loyal fans and listeners that were able to force themselves out of bed early for the set. They made the most of their short twenty minute slot, powering...

North Carolina crossover luminaries CORROSION OF CONFORMITY are pleased to announce their addition to this year’s Hopscotch Music Fest. The three-day event is set to take place on September 6 – 8, 2012 on their home turf of Raleigh. The band will play alongside a throng of artists from all genres including Sunn O))), The Roots, Baroness, Yo La Tengo, The Jesus And Mary Chain and many more.  

Forbidden Planet (840 Broadway, NYC) will host a release party/artists signing from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Original Rock ‘n’ Roll Comics artists will be in attendance signing old issues of RnR Comics, trade paperbacks, DVDs, etc. Original copies of the actual comics will be randomly given away to attendees. Artists confirmed include Jay Allen Sanford, Spike Steffenhagen, and Robert V. Conte. Also in attendance will be director Ilko Davidov, doing a Q&A session and signing DVDs.
