Port Washington, NY (September 14, 2009) – Just in time for Halloween, E1 Entertainment releases the chilling horror anthology series THE HUNGER: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON as a 4-DVD set. Hosted by legendary music and film icon David Bowie and produced by Tony and Ridley Scott, THE HUNGER: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON features an ensemble cast of familiar faces including Giovanni Ribisi (Public Enemies, “Friends”), Jennifer Beals (Flashdance, “The L Word”), Anthony Michael Hall (The Dark Knight, “The Dead Zone”), Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, “Heroes”), Rachelle Lefevre (Twilight, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind) and many more. THE HUNGER: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON includes all 22 complete and uncut episodes of stories inspired by leading horror writers, for the first time in one deluxe 4-DVD set, and arrives in stores on October 13 for $39.98 SRP.

In the terrifying world of THE HUNGER, demons and sensual fantasies run wild in a mesmerizing cross between “The Twilight Zone” and “Tales from the Crypt.” The half-hour episodes feature horrific stories, with themes of self-destructive lust and desire. In these tales of vampires, ghosts, Satanism, sadism, nightmares and obsession, the one common thread is a pervasive sense of eroticism and temptation.

“The Hunger” originally aired for two seasons (1997-1999) on Showtime in the U.S., and took its name from the 1983 urban vampire film starring David Bowie, Catherine Deneuve and Susan Sarandon. Released this past June, THE HUNGER: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON includes all 22 episodes from the first season of the series hosted by Terence Stamp, as well as the original “making of” segment –
a half-hour behind-the-scenes featurette with David Bowie, who replaced Stamp as host in 1999.

To tell the truth, I’am speechless. The Shawshank Redemption is terrific. I’am not too old film fan, in fact, this film come out the same yearI was very young, and thence I am to a greater extent accustomed movies with improbable special effects, edge-of-your-seat action, et cetera. This movie has zero of that, and yet, it really much . Way Frank Darabont uses the tale of Red to drive on the tale, the excellent the movie used (note the mouth harp used merely before Red finding the letter at the end). The entire film, from beginning to end, from actions to music, is a beacon of desire, judgement, and redemption. The cast is pure, Morgan Freeman(Red) really brings about a refreshing feel to the film, and that is exactly what the film is, what a film should be. Highly recommended for every viewer.
