The song tells a tale of an existential crisis about a man at war with himself. Self-loathing makes us feel like we’re drowning in a never ending abyss of hopelessness. The theatrical, emotive track asks, “Why do we hold onto the pain that is our own creation?”
The single deals with controversial topics of wrestling with self-hated, a problem most of us have dealt with at one point or another.
