Just yesterday, Misfits icon Doyle announced the cancellation of his US tour for an opening slot on another one. Quick to follow up that news, it’s revealed that he and Gwar will be sharing the same bill.

With Gwar and Doyle both having new music on the horizon and a sense of theatricality, it seems like a good pairing. Gwar’s album, The Blood of Gods, will be released on October 20 and will serve as the group’s first release without Dave Brockie, who passed away a few years prior. Doyle’s newest album, Doyle II: As We Die was released this past June.
