Multiple Grammy® Award-winning, Golden Globe nominated singer and songwriter Chris Cornell will kick off the second North American leg of his critically acclaimed Higher Truth World Tour tonight in Clearwater, FL at Ruth Eckerd Hall. The tour will travel up the East Coast through the Midwest and up to the Pacific Northwest before winding down on July 27th in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Along the way Cornell will make his first appearance at the Ravinia Festival on July 3rd in Highland Park, Illinois. A full list of tour dates can be found below.

Produced by Brendan O’Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Neil Young), Higher Truth showcases Cornell’s constant evolution as a master songwriter, lyricist and musical craftsman – telling human stories which transcend musical genres.  Inspired by the stark arrangements of musicians like Nick Drake, Daniel Johnston and White Album-era Beatles, Cornell creates a musical universe unlike anything he has done before.  Higher Truth is available via Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), and fans can purchase the deluxe version of the album, which contains four bonus tracks, HERE.
Praise for the album and the tour includes:
“One of rock’s most physically powerful and emotionally resonant vocalists.”  New York Daily News

“Cornell made his bones writing fiercely confessional hard-rock songs, then singing them as if his life depended on it. The only difference at the Beacon last night – you could hear so much more of the life inside.” – Rolling Stone

A stellar collection of folk-inspired, classic rock-kissed songs that revolve around his iconic pipes.”  –Entertainment Weekly

“The raspy, trenchant singer of Soundgarden performed acoustically when he last hit the Beacon Theater reminded many rock devotees of his operatically stunning range.” –The New York Times:

One dollar from each ticket sold will support the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation, which is currently raising funds and partnering with charitable organizations to mobilize support for children facing problems including homelessness, poverty, abuse, and neglect.
