Periphery 3Periphery have been holed up in the studio this year, having only released the sprawling double-album Juggernaut: Alpha and Omega previously in 2015. Not without their share of wild studio updates, the band has been slowly letting fans in on what this new album is shaping up to be.

As confirmed by their recent Facebook update, the band is pulling the curtain back on the album, entitled Periphery III: Select Difficulty. Despite being the band’s fifth studio album, (Fourth, if you count Juggernaut as two albums since they were sold separately) the band has returned to numbering their albums, the previous being 2012’s Periphery II: This Time It’s Personal.

Periphery III is due July 22 of this summer, and a tour will embark through August and September of this year. In support, Periphery will be bringing Sikth, Chon, and Toothgrinder, for what is surely going to be a wild, yet varied show from start to finish. Periphery last toured North America early last year, making this this first tour stateside since concluding that run.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 29th. For tour dates, visit the band’s Facebook page, or click on the tour poster right under.  P3
