Texas-based apocalyptic metal septet, DEAD TO A DYING WORLD, on the eve of their West Coast US Tour, has just been announced in the latest round of bands confirmed for Roadburn Festival 2016.
As their Billy Anderson-produced sophomore LP, Litany, nears its release in two weeks, DEAD TO A DYING WORLD will take to the road tomorrow on a two-week tour of the Western US. The tour runs through Oklahoma City, Albuquerque, Colorado Springs, Denver, Salt Lake City, Boise, Seattle, Portland, Salem, Ashland, Oakland, Los Angeles, Tucson, El Paso and will come to a halt in San Antonio on October 17th, and includes the band’s return to Southwest Terror Fest where they’ll play on Thursday, October 15th with Thou & The Body, In The Company Of Serpents, Heat Dust, Gale, Abstracter, Hanta and Methra.
DEAD TO A DYING WORLD will also make their way to Europe on their maiden tour of the continent in the Springtime months, including their freshly announced performance at Roadburn 2016. Running from April 14th through 17th, DEAD TO A DYING WORLD has been confirmed to hit the stage on Saturday the 16th alongside Neurosis, Amenra, La Muerte, Astrosoniq, Skeptiscim and more that day. Issued bassist James Magruder on their participation in the festivities, “We are extremely humbled by the opportunity to play Roadburn as it has been a dream of ours for some time.
