Swiss folk-metal pioneers ELUVEITIE and Dutch symphonic metal titans EPICA, will join forces on a North American tour presented by REVOLVER Magazine this fall. The two bands will be co-headlining, with Canada’s The Agonist supporting on all dates.
ELUVEITIE‘s lead vocalist Chrigel Glanzmann states: “We’re eight months into the Origins world tour now and far from getting tired! We can’t wait to finally return to the USA and Canada; especially because we’ll return alongside the mighty EPICA! By Toutatis, this is gonna be fucking awesome!”

ELUVEITIE debuted at #104 on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart and at #1 on the Heatseekers chart, with their new album Origins. The release also cracked the Canadian Top 200, coming in at #60. In contrast their previous record Helvetios, came in at #143 on the US Billboard Top 200 Chart and at #73 on the Canadian Top 200, which now makes Origins their highest charting record yet!
Origins was be released on August 1st (EUR), August 4th (UK) and on August 5th (North America) 2014 via Nuclear Blast. Cover artwork was created by none other than the group’s mastermind himself, Chrigel Glanzmann. Origins was recorded once again with producer Tommy Vetterli (KREATOR, CORONOR) at New Sound Studios in Switzerland.
