Black Map, the California trio featuring members of Far, Dredg and The Trophy Fire, have released a live video for the song “Eyes on The Prize” (https://youtu.be/CzZx66BglK0).

The trio, who has been touring frequently with Chevelle, captured behind the scenes footage during one of their recent treks overseas. The interviews and live footage can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/DHzPeZ7X6kU. The footage featured in the “Eyes on the Prize” video was culled from a recent round of German tour dates.

The band’s next live outing is a Sacramento show on Aug. 1 at Ace of Spades.

Black Map released their debut album, … And We Explode, late last year via Minus Head Records. The vinyl was released this spring and is available via Band Camp (https://blackmapmusic.bandcamp.com/album/and-we-explode) and Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/We-Explode-Black-Map/dp/B00V862GXE/).

Revolver described the trio’s music as “Deftones getting quiet and driving along the California coast, with Taking Back Sunday riding shotgun” while Punk News said the band’s music features “crunchy riffs” and pays “homage to the band’s ‘90’s pedigree.”
