BROTHERS OF THE SONIC CLOTH – the Seattle doom brigade featuring iconic guitarist/vocalist Tad Doyle, formerly of Tad and Hog Molly, veteran bassist Peggy Doyle, and drummer Dave French (The Anunnaki) — will level the stages of nine cities with their apocalyptic odes on a long-anticipated bout of West Coast rituals.
Slated to commence tomorrow, May 21st, on their home turf of Seattle, the trio will make their way through Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Denver and Salt Lake City with the run drawing to a close in Boise.
Issues Doyle of the trek, “It’s been far too long. The wait is over. Time for us to get out on the road, log some miles in the van and visit the cities and people we love to play our shit for in support of our debut self-titled record on Neurot Recordings.”

BROTHERS OF THE SONIC CLOTH will be touring in support of their lead-footed, self-titled debut, unleashed in February via Neurot Recordings. Captured at Robert Lang Studios and Doyle’s own Witch Ape Studio and mixed by Billy Anderson (Sleep, High On Fire, Melvins), Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth serves as Doyle’s first recorded release in nearly fifteen years. Splicing thick, jagged riffs through chilling post-punk drumming and hulking compositions that blow soulfully hot and desolately cold, sometimes within the confines of one track, BROTHERS OF THE SONIC CLOTH is the sound of earthly decomposition and planetary ruin; a slow, suffocating, spellbinding dance towards a looming apocalypse.
