Shankar’s popular “Bootleg Universe” of shorts is growing; this time an entire mini-series will be available FOR FREE online! Shankar’s work is fantastic, check out his Punisher short “Punisher: Dirty Laundry” for a taste, and now he’s going to be tackling his most ambitious bootleg yet. For those who’ve seen 2012’s absolute smash Dredd and find themselves wondering what the hell a Dark Judge is; here’s the brief. The Dark Judges are a four horsemen of the apocalypse- themed group of Judges from an alternate universe, led by Judge Death, who have come to the conclusion that life itself is a crime punishable by death. How Shankar will adapt this is a mystery right now, we don’t have any production stills yet, but the project couldn’t be in better hands.
