GUNPOWDER GRAY Self-titled debut out on Boris Records

Boris Records has released the self-titled debut EP from Atlanta rockers GUNPOWDER GRAY. Released Saturday to commemorate Record Store Day, the first 100 copies of the vinyl edition of the EP are available on purple vinyl. All copies after will come in standard black vinyl. On the Band:
When they are not performing with Atlanta-based death metal grinders Disfigurement, vocalist Nate Godbee and guitarist Adam Besserer pair with three local punk veterans and dig deep down to the roots of heavy rock-n- roll as Gunpowder Gray. The group, which also features Sam Vaughan (bass), Chris Heffernan (guitar and vocals), and Biters drummer Joey O’Brien, captures the blues-tinged, riff driven sound of classic acts ranging from metal progenitors like Black Sabbath and Pentagram to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
