News has been filtering out on the net that the big rumor is WB is high on Joseph Gordon-Levitt has signed on to play Batman in the much anticipated, still in the works Justice League movie. For all those who don’t know, Levitt played a primary role in the recent installment of the Batman Trilogy “The Dark Knight Rises” as John “Robin” Blake. The website Hitfix.com is reporting that WB is seeking to tie the franchise to the upcoming Superman flick “Man Of Steel” by having Levitt and one other character from the Nolan (that is Christoper Nolan, The Dark Knight director) films segway into the end of Man Of Steel. If proven true, this would be in line with the way WB does their business with their sister company DC Comics. Dc in recent years has taken great liberties with their characters, as sometimes they barely resemble their on screen interpretations. (ie: again: The Dark Knight films) It’s enough to say that WB/DC have learned their lesson with movie making and taken a page from Marvel Comics and begins to listen to the fans to start combining their movie universes. I’m sure fans will be split though in Gordon-Levitt playing Batman. Let the battle begin! For the full story – Hitfix.com
