With all the hoopla surrounding the Avengers movie release, we decided to see if we could find Marvel Easter Eggs! Easter Eggs are those funny placements in movies that only true fans can spot…(Like the original Human Torch in “Captain America” and The Infinity Gauntlet in “Thor”) Well, with the appearance of Thanos at the end credits of The Avengers film, we wouldn’t consider that a Easter Egg as in some circles that was considered a worst kept secret. So, the internet is beaming at the fact that there are no Easter Eggs in The Avengers film…well Metal Machine found at least one. If you have seen the movie, there is a scene when Thor takes Loki from The Quinjet carrying him, Iron Man and Cap as he is being transported to a prison on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. As Thor speaks to Loki on a hill top, grilling Loki about the where abouts of the Cosmic Cube, the camera pans back for a second and two ravens are seen and heard flying by both of them. Those two ravens would be Huginn and Muninn, Odin’s all seeing ravens that bring him all the information from the Nine Realms. here they are in The Mighty Thor Comic issue # 341 1983.
