The artistically chaotic sound of their 2010 release, Meridional, has certainly resonated with the metal community, as the album continues to receive end of the year accolades. Alternative Press named Meridional one of the Top 10 Essential Albums of 2010 and Cory Brandan as Best Vocalist in their MVRs (Most Valuable Rockers) of 2010. The album ranked in several other “Best OF” lists including Absolute Punk, BLARE Magazine, Frantik Mag and Metal Injection amongst others.
Norma Jean released their fifth album, Meridional, to critical acclaim in July 2010. The five-piece metal band from Atlanta has previously released four records prior to Meridional, selling over 365,000 albums. The Grammy-nominated band is known for their aggressively artful sound which was once again delivered in their seethingly raw album, Meridional.
