New York, NY – Rockers, Cold have announced their headlining tour, A Tour of the American Dream with support Egypt Central and Kopek. The US trek begins March 15th at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA and will run through May. Cold will be releasing their fifth album, Superfiction this summer, which weaves together twelve tales of heroism, heartbreak, and healing. The band has released the track “Wicked World” online as a preview of the album. The track that is receiving a warm welcome from fans can be heard at the newly re-launched www.coldarmy.com. “American Dream,” the first radio single, will be delivered in the spring. For a complete list of tour dates, please see below. Tickets go on sale this weekend. A second leg of the tour will be announced in the next few weeks. Cold is also giving their fans an opportunity to buy tickets directly on www.coldarmy.com with reduced service charges this Wednesday and Thursday.
On Superfiction, Cold combine vivid, vibrant storytelling with elegantly heavy hard rock. It’s a combination that the band has perfected since they burst onto the scene in 2003 with Year of the Spider, which went to #3 on The Billboard 200 chart and spurred the hit “Stupid Girl.” Cold preserve the alluring darkness that made them a rock mainstay, while honing their approach into an intricate, introspective, and inspirational style.
