Avenged Sevenfold whose fifth studio album “Nightmare” was released yesterday, July 27th will chat with fans this Thursday, July 29th at 5PM EST.

Also this Thursday July 29th fans can purchase a copy of the album at the Best Buy store in Orange, CA and receive a wristband for a chance to meet the band at their in-store signing on Friday, August 6th. This Saturday, July 31st, the band will perform a special live concert webcast from Syracuse, NY. The deluxe version of Nightmare is currently No. 1 on the iTunes album chart, and No.3 on Amazon.com. The special edition direct to consumer piece has sold-out all 7,000 copies of it’s limited run. The album’s first single and title track “Nightmare” is No.2 at BDS Active Rock, and in the top 15 at Alternative Radio. The official video for “Nightmare,” premiered on MTV2, MTV.com, and MTV2.com, on July 17th and became the second most popular video on Youtube, racking up more than 1.2 million views last week. In August the band will co-headline the first annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival with Disturbed. Also on the bill are Stone Sour, Halestorm, and Hell Yeah. The UPROAR tour, which will hit amphitheatres and arenas, marks the band’s first tour since the passing of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Mike Portnoy from Dream Theatre plays drums on Nightmare and will also tour with the band for UPROAR.
